Caring Tips for Wood Cutting Boards

♥ If you’re just slicing bread, you can simply wipe it off, but for moist, sticky, or pungent foods (which are most of them), you’ll need to wash and rinse it.

♥ Don’t put wooden cutting boards in the dishwasher, microwave, oven and fridge. 

♥ Do not use hot water to wash your cutting board. 

♥ Do wipe off the water on your clean cutting board after wash, and let it dry in a ventilated place. Avoid direct sunlight. 

♥ Don’t soak a cutting board. Soaking can cause the board to warp and mold. 

♥ We highly recommend you sand and apply oil to it every month. It will make it smooth and more durable. Walnut oil/linseed oil/mineral oil/beeswax are all suitable.

 

Caring Tips for Wooden Tableware

♥ For the FIRST FEW TIMES use, please only put warm water or room temperature water or cold water only to let the tableware adapt with water. After that, you can use it to put hot water. Don’t put HOT water for the first few times. 

♥ Don’t put wooden items in the dishwasher, microwave, oven and fridge.

♥ Do not use hot water to wash the wood items. 

♥ Do wipe off the water on your items after wash, and let it dry in a ventilated place. Avoid direct sunlight.
